Helping Children to Process Loss
Feeling stuck? Helpless or maybe even lost? Not sure what to do to help your child who is perhaps displaying signs that they are struggling with a recent change, loss, or adjustment in life? Or maybe it's been going on for a while now and you just simply feel like you have no idea what to do, you're at your wit's end!
You are invited to join us for our next group session, where we will walk you through important exercises, and educational materials that provide you with tools that can assist the children in your life, through grief and loss. This program includes:
- 20 min onboarding call prior to start date
- 4 Week Group Sessions (2-2.5 hr/once per week)
- When Children Grieve handbook
- Reading & Homework assignments
- Group exercises and more
The feelings produced in a child due to life experiences are many, which can include death, divorce, moving, loss of trust and even losing important possessions. Regardless of the type, level or severity of these losses, when a child is grieving, the handbook and educational program guidelines can make a huge difference in helping children process loss.
